APPEARANCES

[i] Angelina usually prefers darker clothing, believing it represent her personality better. So she tends to wear dark tee shirts with some jeans. She really doesn’t vary it up to much. Her shoes are usually just whatever pair sneakers she can find first. She has started wearing her brother’s tee-shirts too.
She has an oval shaped face. Her blonde hair is slightly wavy and frames her face. It is often frizzy so she tends to straighten it all the time. She has a long forehead, and it bothers her a lot, she had bangs for a while but then she realized it just accented it. Her eyebrows constantly look like they’re surprised giving her dark brown eyes depth and making them extremely noticeable. Her skin is pale, un-tanned and her nose is small, slightly pointed at the tip. Angelina considers her lips her best features, plump but pretty. Her ears are small, and she likes to hide them in her hair, so she doesn’t put it up often. Angelina has a long neck, with small shoulders held up by a thin body. She’s not terribly tall, but she doesn’t mind her height. She’s a healthy type of thin and is always watching what she eats because she’s has a bit of self-esteem issues, almost to an eating-disorder level.

PERSONALITY

Angelina was never that cheerful of a child, even before her brother died. She was always sort of quiet. And after he died, she only became more secretive. Angelina is a bit out casted from other people at her school. She’s very good at analyzing people and judging them. So, if she judges someone to be un-worthy of her presence she tends to be sarcastic, rude, and demanding. However, if she likes you she eases up and maybe is even relatively kind. She does not have a very optimistic outlook on human nature, so she mostly just assumes the worst. Angelina also can’t stand loosing, even if she’s wrong she won’t back down and is becomes terribly stubborn. Her intelligence prevents her from being wrong most of the time, however.

Because of her prideful nature, Angelina also tends to be unsympathetic and severe with her mannerism. She actually just avoids people for the majority of the time; most of them annoy her. But, if you are her friend she is extremely loyal. She’s the type of girl that stays quiet, the one her friends always vent on, while she just holds in her anger. Then when her anger bubbles to the top, she just lets it out on everyone. She’ll never apologize, either, just thinking that it is understood that she feels bad about it.

HISTORY

Angelina grew up in a functional family, that is until her mother left her father for another man. It doesn’t happen often, but Angie’s a special case. Her father started stressing more, and therefore he started leaning more on her brother, who was already swamped with school and the extra job he had taken to help support the family. Soon it was
“Hey Andrew can you take Angie to school?” or “Andrew, do me a favor and pick up some groceries”
Angelina saw that her brother was overworked, but her little ten-year old self couldn’t do anything about it.

A year after her mother left, Angelina broke her foot at a playground her brother took her to. Andrew felt like it was his fault, that he should have been there for her and caught her when she fell. But he wasn’t there and he felt guilty about it. Not to mention their dad didn’t notice that Andrew was dying of stress. His grade, football, friends, his family. It was all building up on him.
Angie was the one to find him. He was in his room, hanging by a rope from the lamp.
Suicide.
Angelina felt like it was her fault, and she continued to feel like that. Even when her father remarried to a Christine, a painter from Idaho, and he started to feel happy again…Angie still felt terrible about it. Christine understood, her mother committed suicide when she was thirteen. Her step-mother didn’t help much, though, even if they were pretty good friends. So Angie has kept her thoughts to herself since. She’s pretty good at hiding them too.
